PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which an intended application performance is improved by further improving a performance of motion vector search by limiting a search range even for a video image with a big motion such as camera shaking at a tele-end side of the imaging apparatus or imaging while walking at a wide-end side.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes a shake information acquisition section 3 which acquires camera attitude change information. When searching for the motion vector, on the basis of the camera attitude change information obtained from the shake information acquisition section 3 and/or vibration-proof control information obtained from a vibration-proof mechanism, the search range and/or a search position of the motion vector search is determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
