PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower limb protective air bag which can exactly protect a shin part of a crewman who moves to oblique front side.SOLUTION: A lower limb protective air bag 40 which is folded and stored in the front of a crewman D seated on a seat and covers a front side of a lower limb LB of the crewman D by introduction of a gas for expansion into the interior thereof. The lower limb protective air bag 40 includes: a body expansion part 42 which covers the front side of the lower limb LB of the crewman D at the time of completion of expansion; and a shin protection part 49 which is located on at least one side of the body expansion part 42 in a longitudinal direction, and is so located as to project from the body expansion part 42 at the time of completion of expansion thereby covering a ;lateral side of a shin part L of the crewman D. The shin protection part 49 is so configured that expansion thereof is completed at an internal pressure higher that of the body expansion part 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 |
