PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal, an information providing medium, a processing execution method, and a program which can read an image and execute specific processing by a simple operation over an information providing medium having an NEC tag and image.SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal 100 which executes specific processing by a trigger provided from the exterior comprises: a start signal receiving section 110 for receiving information including a start signal of an image reading application, by communication; a start section 120 which starts the installed image reading application, in accordance with the received start signal; an image information reading section 130 which reads image information under the start of the image reading application; and a specific processing execution section 150 which executes specific processing associated with the read image information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
