PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking training device and its control method in which a determination can be made whether it is caused by abnormal conditions of the walking assist device or in a state of not using the walking assist device intentionally, even if not connected with a walking assist device, and walking training is possible by using peripheral equipment.SOLUTION: A walking training device includes: a walking assist device worn in user's legs and assisting the walking of the user; peripheral equipment for performing the walking training of the user; control means for controlling the walking assist device and the peripheral equipment; and switching means for switching the control means between a cooperative control mode for performing cooperative control of the walking assist device and the peripheral equipment based on information outputted from the walking assist device, and an operation mode for controlling the peripheral equipment based on the set operation information. The control means executes control of the peripheral equipment when switched to the operation mode by the switching means, even if becoming a non-connection state with the walking assist device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
