PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load test device low in device cost and capable of highly accurately measuring a horizontal resistance force working on a specimen to be tested of a laminated rubber bearing or the like and easily dealing with a load test in two horizontal directions.SOLUTION: A load test device is mounted with an object T to be tested, and includes: a movable base 3 movable in a horizontal direction with respect to a fixed base 11; a horizontal direction actuator 4 for applying a horizontal direction load to the movable base; a first pressure member 7 located on an upper part of the object T to be tested and abutting to a top face of the object T to be tested; a holding structure (laminate rubber) 10 mounted on the first pressure member; a second pressure member 12 located on an upper part of the holding structure and abutting to the top face of the holding structure; a vertical actuator 6 for applying a load of a vertical direction to the second pressure member; and load cells 8, 9 interposed between the first pressure member and the second pressure member and measuring an applied load in the horizontal direction. The holding structure adds a horizontal force increased as followed by the increase of a relative displacement in the horizontal direction between an upper part and a lower part of the holding structure to the first pressure member and the second pressure member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
