PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system which can improve the accuracy of processing for estimating information on power of an apparatus connected to a distribution board.SOLUTION: An apparatus power estimation method includes: a step of measuring a waveform indicating a total current supplied to an electric apparatus connected to a distribution board; a step of extracting a median of the measured waveform at a sample point of the waveform at predetermined intervals; a step of comparing the median against preset teacher data so as to estimate information on power of the electric apparatus in operation on the basis of a comparison result; and a step of outputting the information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
