PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention device for a floor opening that allows sufficient viewing into a storage room while enhancing safety.SOLUTION: A fall prevention device 1 for a floor opening 10 is for preventing falling from the floor opening 10, and includes: a guide rail 2 disposed along the floor opening 10; a plurality of supporting bars 3 guided by the guide rail 2; a lock mechanism 5 capable of fixing the supporting bar closest to a ladder L side, among the plurality of supporting bars 3, on the guide rail 2; and a safety net 4 stretched over the plurality of supporting bars 3. The safety net 4 is flexible and covers over the floor opening 10, while the supporting bar 3 is being fixed by the lock mechanism 5. The plurality of supporting bars 3 has a longitudinally long cross-section. The lock mechanism 5 unlocks the fixed state when the supporting bar 3 fixed on the guide rail 2 rotates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
