PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid transmission device which suppresses that a piston of a lockup clutch is moved to a release direction in a release state of the lockup clutch, and can fasten the lockup clutch at favorable responsiveness.SOLUTION: A pump 20, a turbine and a lockup clutch 60 which presses a piston 65 by fastening hydraulic pressure to a hydraulic chamber 4, and directly connects the pump 20 and the turbine are arranged in a case 10, and fluid leak means 81 from a centrifugal balance chamber 6 for suppressing generation of hydraulic pressure which moves the piston 65 into the centrifugal balance chamber 6 in a release direction in a release state of the lockup clutch 60 to a torque converter 1 in which the centrifugal balance chamber 6 into which a working fluid is introduced from a case internal pressure chamber 2 is formed is arranged at a side opposite to the hydraulic chamber 4 with the piston 65 sandwiched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
