PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a dye-sensitized solar cell from being oxidized and corroding by exposing a connection part of a metallic external lead and a collection wire in the atmospheric air outside of a discharge container, the dye-sensitized solar cell including a photoelectrode, a collector electrode that is provided in contact with the photoelectrode, and a counter electrode that confronts the photoelectrode and the collector electrode, within a tubular container and encapsulating the external lead that is connected to the collector electrode and the counter electrode, respectively, in an encapsulation part of the tubular container so as to protrude outside of the tubular container.SOLUTION: The tubular container includes a tubular protection part which is formed from a portion of the tubular container and which has the diameter being expanded more than the encapsulation part, closer to an outer end than the encapsulation part. Within the tubular protection part, the collection wire is connected to the external lead, and the inside of the tubular protection part is filled with insulative fillers so as to bury the connection part of the external lead and the collection wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
