PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the connection reliability of an electronic component including a columnar electrode.SOLUTION: An electronic component 10 includes: a substrate 11; an electrode part 12 provided on the substrate 11; a conductor layer 14 provided on the electrode part 12; and a pillar 13 that is a columnar electrode provided on the conductor layer 14. The conductor layer 14 includes a conductor material and a resin particle contained in the conductor material. The conductor layer 14 is interposed between the electrode part 12 and the pillar 13 so that stress generated in the pillar 13 is absorbed and relaxed by the resin particle in the conductor layer 14. Accordingly, breakage of the pillar 13 and disconnection with the electrode 12 caused due to the stress are suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
