PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate pack type battery that can easily block the gap between a laminate film and a power collection tab portion even when the laminate film is used to enhance the strength of a battery exterior body.SOLUTION: In a laminate pack type battery 10 in which a power generation element 13 is covered by and joined to a laminate film 11 to form a battery exterior body 12, and the joint portion (edge portion 32) of the laminate film 11 is passed through power collection tab portions 20, 23 extending from the power generation element 13 and exposed to the outside, areas (short side portions 32S) corresponding to at least the outer edges of the power collection tab portions 20, 23 of the laminate film 11 are configured as thin sites having smaller thicknesses than the other areas of the laminate film 11.
