PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage composition and a heatstroke preventive containing high concentration sodium and excellent in palatability.SOLUTION: The beverage composition related to the present invention contains sodium, magnesium and potassium, the content of sodium being 31 mg to 74 mg per 100 ml of the beverage and potassium/magnesium being 1.4 to 8.2. The beverage composition further contains calcium and potassium/calcium is preferably 3.0 to 4.9. The beverage composition preferably has the content of potassium of 5.80 mg to 7.10 mg per 100 ml of the beverage. The beverage composition further contains a sweetener and/or a fruit juice and the content of a soluble solid component is preferably 4 mass% or more based on the beverage.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
