PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of mixed-printing processes involving use of multiple sheets of different sizes.SOLUTION: A post-processing device includes: a holding tray configured to keep sheets P1 and P2 fed from a device at a preceding stage evenly in a right-left direction with respect to a centerline TS of the device; an alignment mechanism configured to apply an alignment process to a sheet bundle PTa including the sheets P1 and P2 on the holding tray; an output mechanism configured to output the sheet bundle PTa to an output tray by pushing a side edge of the sheet bundle PTa with a push-out member 304 to move the sheet bundle PTa in a direction M2 orthogonal to a sheet feed direction; and a control unit. In a case where a first sheet P1 and a second sheet P2, which is fed following the first sheet, are different in size, the control unit controls the sheets in such a manner that, when the first sheet P1 is fed, the alignment mechanism or the output mechanism shifts the first sheet P1 so as to align the side edge of the first sheet P1 with the side edge of the second sheet P2 to be fed following the first sheet, and after the second sheet P2 is fed, the output mechanism outputs the sheet bundle PTa.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
