PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate filter with a catalyst where the used amount of a catalyst metal is suppressed by utilizing an alkaline earth metal for the combustion acceleration of PM.SOLUTION: A catalyst 20 for PM combustion arranged in a filter body includes active alumina 21, 22, active oxygen releasing materials 23, 24, a catalyst metal 25, an alkaline earth metal 26 and a binder 27. The alkaline earth metal 26 is supported on each of the active alumina 21, 22 and the binder 27. The total amount of the alkaline earth metal 26 supported on each of the active alumina 21, 22 and the binder 27 is 90 mass% or more of an all alkaline earth metal amount contained in the catalyst 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
