PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spout stopper capable of preventing occurrence of overrun even when an excessive torque is applied to a cap and the spout stopper, and to provide a packaging container using the spout stopper.SOLUTION: A spout stopper comprises a spout stopper body including a cylindrical sidewall in which an outside screw is formed on an outer peripheral face, and a cap including a cylindrical sidewall in which an inside screw is formed on an inner peripheral face and screwed from the upper end side being one end of the sidewall of the spout stopper body. A disk-like flange part provided by drawing outside from the lower end edge of the sidewall in the spout stopper body is formed at the bottom edge of the sidewall. The outside screw is formed in the range from the contact position of the spout stopper body with the flange part of the sidewall to the distance of 1/3 to 2/3 of the distance between the contact position and the upper end edge along a screw shaft direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
