PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably support a permanent magnet 14 in a rotor core for a rotary electric machine in which the permanent magnet is embedded, while reducing the number of locators 32, 34 for locating the permanent magnet in a direction intersecting with a direction connecting both poles of the permanent magnet.SOLUTION: A rotor core is formed from a first core steel plate 16 having magnet locators 32, 34 for locating a permanent magnet 14 and a second core steel plate 18 not having the magnet locators, at the edge of a magnet housing hole 20 which houses the permanent magnet 14. The first core steel plate 16 is arranged at both ends in an axial direction of the rotor core, the second core steel plate 18 is arranged at a portion between both ends of the rotor core, and the rotor core is formed by stacking the first and second core steel plates 16, 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
