PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for supporting a wheel capable of suppressing collapse of roundness of a raceway groove, and improved in rigidity to prevent deformation in attaching a knuckle.SOLUTION: A bearing device includes at least a rotatable hub ring 27, an outer ring 1 disposed at an outer side of the hub ring 27 while fixed to a knuckle 50, and a plurality of rolling elements 43 assembled between an outside row raceway groove 33 and an inside row raceway groove 37 of the hub ring 27, between an outside row raceway groove 9 and an inside row raceway groove 21 of the outer ring 1, and between the inner ring raceway groove and the outer ring raceway groove, and further has a knuckle flange 3 fastened to the knuckle 50, on an outer peripheral face of the outer ring 1. The inside row raceway groove 21 of the outer ring is disposed at an inner diameter side of the knuckle flange 3 in the radial direction, and an annular small-diameter portion 15 projecting to an inner diameter side in the radial direction, is disposed between the outside row raceway groove 9 and the inside row raceway groove 21 of the outer ring 1 near a groove shoulder 22 close to the outside row raceway groove 9, of the inside row raceway groove 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
