PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device that does not release mercury and glass fragments that scatter and are dangerous to humans from the inside of the projection device.SOLUTION: A projection device 1 includes a lamp device 15 that emits light, damage detection means 2 for detecting if the lamp device 15 has been broken, means 4 for controlling the flow of the air inside the projection device 1, and means 3 for maintaining air-tightness inside the projection device 1. The means 3 for maintaining air-tightness prevents the air inside the projection device 1 from being released to the outside, with the use of the information from the damage detection means 2 and the means 4 for controlling the flow of the air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
