PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission which can prohibit at least the enlargement of an eccentric amount even if an actuator for controlling the eccentric amount of an eccentric disc by rotationally driving a pair of crank members is failed.SOLUTION: A gear change ratio variable mechanism includes a parallel link mechanism 170 which has a center A of a first crank journal, a center B of a second crank journal, a center C of a first crank pin, and a center D of a second crank pin. When an eccentric amount is a maximum eccentric amount at which an input shaft is permitted to be rotated at a maximum rotation number, the center of gravity of each eccentric disc 104 passes through a rotation center O1 of an input shaft, and is located in a region U1 out of two regions U1, U2 divided by a virtual linear line 175 parallel with an AC link 173 and a BD link 174 which includes an upper part of the virtual linear line 175, and is a side at which the AC link 173 and the BD link 174 are rotated to a direction in which the eccentric amount is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 |
