PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of mounting a built-in component of a blow-molded product in which increase in the mounting weight of a built-in component is prevented, and the built-in component can be mounted on an inner surface of an external wall of a blow-molded product at a prescribed position.SOLUTION: In a method of mounting a built-in component 20 inside an external wall 10 of a blow-molded product 1, a built-in component holding member 30 has a built-in component holding/engaging part 33 and a built-in component holding shaft part 31. The built-in component 20 has a built-in component locking part 23 and a built-in component welding surface 22. A blow-molding mold 40 is opened, the built-in component holding member 30 which holds the built-in component 20 is inserted into a parison 8, the blow-molding mold 40 is closed to perform blow molding, and the built-in component welding surface 22 is welded to an inner surface of the parison 8. The blow-molding mold 40 is opened after the blow molding, the built-in component holding/engaging part 33 is removed from the built-in component locking part 23, and the built-in component holding member 30 is taken out from the blow-molded product 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
