PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, in a liquid crystal display device that has a touch panel function in a liquid crystal display panel, corrosion of an electrode for a touch panel formed on the outside of a glass substrate and improve an adhesive force between a protective film of the electrode for a touch panel, and a polarizing plate.SOLUTION: A first electrode 30 for a touch panel is formed on the outside of an opposing substrate 200 of a liquid crystal display panel, and a protective film 210 is formed to cover the electrode. A recess 211 of the protective film is charged with the protective film 210 by ink jet. The surface of the protective film 210 is polished and roughened. A polarizing plate 220 is laminated on the surface of the protective film 210 with an adhesive material 221. Since the recess is repaired with the protective film 210, corrosion of a first wire 30 due to the adhesive material 221 can be prevented, and since the surface of the protective film 210 is roughened, an adhesion area is increased and an adhesive force of the polarizing plate 220 is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
