PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell in which an emitter layer and a passivation film can be formed conveniently, while enhancing the short circuit current/open voltage.SOLUTION: A solar cell has a gallium-doped p-type silicon substrate 11, a silicon oxide film 12 provided on a first principal surface 18 of the p-type silicon substrate, a silicon nitride film 13 provided on the silicon oxide film 12, and an electrode 14 provided on the first principal surface 18 of the p-type silicon substrate 11. Gallium concentration of the uppermost layer of the p-type silicon substrate 11 on the first principal surface 18 is smaller than that in the p-type silicon substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
