PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device in which protruding parts are disposed near discharge ports of a liquid discharge surface to reliably protect peripheries of the discharge ports and excellent durability of the protruding parts is achieved.SOLUTION: A passage unit 23 of an ink jet head includes a metal nozzle plate 39 in which nozzles 44 are formed. In a nozzle plate 39, protruding parts 50 protruding from an ink discharge surface 39a are arranged side by side with nozzles 44 along a nozzle arrangement direction. The protruding parts 50 are formed by pressing the nozzle plate 39 from the opposite side of the ink discharge surface 39a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
