PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a suitable conversation with a user.SOLUTION: A response generation device includes: a specification unit that specifies feature information about the feature of a conversation between an interactive agent system and a user; a modification unit that modifies the content of a response message according to the feature information specified by the specification unit; and an output control unit that performs control so as to output the response message whose content has been modified by the modification unit.
