PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and user-friendly humidifier which suppresses intrusion of water to the inside of a body at maintenance time.SOLUTION: A humidifier includes: a body having a suction port 15 and a blowout port 21, and including a lower case 1 and a body cover 2; humidification means 71 for humidifying air; a water supply tank 41 for storing water to be supplied to the humidification; a blower fan for sucking indoor air from the suction port 15 and for generating an airflow for blowing out the air humidified by the humidification means 71 to the indoors from the blowout port 21; and a shutter 20 in which an air passage leading to the blowout port 21 from the suction port 15 comprises a body side air passage 16 on the lower case side and an upper part side air passage 22 on the body cover side, and which opens/closes an opening 19a on the lower case 1 side for connecting the body side air passage 16 and the upper part side air passage 22. The shutter 20 closes the opening 19a when the body cover 2 is removed from the lower case 1, and when the body cover 2 is mounted on the lower case 1, it opens the opening 19a and communicates the body side air passage 16 and the upper part side air passage 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
