PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device that increases the degree of freedom of setting of values of currents supplied to respective LEDs of a matrix LED while suppressing an increase in number of wires.SOLUTION: A light source device includes a matrix part having a plurality of light emitting elements (LEDs 11-16, 21-26, and 31-36), and a control circuit 10 which drives the respective light emitting elements of the matrix part. The matrix part has a part to which respective one-end sides of two or more light emitting elements in each column are connected in common, and other-end sides of light emitting elements in each row are connected in common in the row. The control circuit 10 has a plurality of constant current sources 61a-c, 62a-c, and 63a-c which supply constant currents for each light emitting element having each one-end side connected in common in column; switching means (transistors 41-46) which are connected to respective other-end sides of respective light emitting elements connected in common in each row; and an arithmetic processing circuit 50 which performs ON/OFF control over the plurality of switching means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
