The present invention relates to an expandable and contractible collet which is attached to an automation device to fix a certain fixture and transfer the fixed fixture. The collet is described as follows. A tube is made of a flexible material, such as urethane, rubber, silicone, soft synthetic resin, etc., to cover the inner surface of an outer collet or the outer surface of an inner collet. The outer collet coming in contact with the tube is expanded, or the inner collet is contracted using the force that the tube is expanded or contracted by supplying compressed air to the inside of the tube, thereby fixing the fixture and then transferring the fixed fixture. |
