The present invention relates to a current collector and an electric vehicle having the same. More specifically, the current collector includes a plurality of pick-up parts, a plurality of rectifiers, and a regulator. The pick-up parts receive alternating current (AC) from a power feeding device through a magnetic resonance scheme. The rectifiers are provided in number corresponding to the number of the pick-up parts to convert the AC current, which is collected in the pick-up parts and outputted from the pick-up part, into a direct current (DC). The regulator is configured to have input channels smaller than input channels of the rectifiers in number as channels are grouped. Through the above configuration, channels inputted to power circuits (converter circuits) of the regulator are grouped, so that the number of the channels can be reduced, and the channels can be more easily controlled and more efficiently managed. Accordingly, the number of components, a volume, and manufacturing costs can be reduced, and an amount of emitted heat can be reduced, so that the requirement for cooling can be reduced. In addition, margin is provided in control performance, so that, when a new control function is added, the new control function can be easily added. |
