DNAJ LIKE PROTEIN FROM MEDICAGO SATIVA AND USES THEREOF

The present invention relates to MsDNAJ protein derived from Medicago sativa and associated with non-biological stress resistance or a gene encoding the same, and to a method for increasing non-biological stress resistance, the method comprising a step of transforming the MsDNAJ protein to be overexpressed in a plant. The MaDNAJ gene of the present invention is increasingly expressed in various non-biological stress environments such as a high temperature, a low temperate, salt, a dry atmosphere, or a heavy metal. Therefore, the MsDNAJ gene is used in the molecular breeding of pasture, and thus can be favorably used to develop a transformant having strong non-biological stress resistance. Furthermore, the present invention can greatly contribute to an increase in the productivity in crops or mass-production of active ingredients.
