PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that can perform preferable recovery processing for a recording head according to a use situation of the inkjet recording device.SOLUTION: A recovery method for a recording head, which performs an elapsed time acquisition step of acquiring a first elapsed time after completion of a previous recording operation and a control step of allowing suction operation to be performed when the first elapsed time is longer than a first time, also performs a post-suction elapsed time acquisition step of acquiring a second elapsed time after the completion of the previous suction operation, in which when the second elapsed time is longer than a second time longer than the first time, the suction operation is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
