PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens body capable of saving metal deposition and suppressing reflection loss, and a vehicular lighting tool.SOLUTION: Out of first light made incident to the inside of a lens body 14 and subjected to inner surface reflection with a first reflection surface 14b1, light partially shielded by a fourth reflection surface 14b4 and light subjected to inner surface reflection with the fourth reflection surface 14b4 constitute a first optical system forming on an upper end edge a first partial light distribution pattern containing a cutoff line defined by the front end edge of the fourth reflection surface 14b4. Out of second light made incident to the inside of the lens body 14 and sequentially subjected to inner surface reflection with a second reflection surface 14b2 and a third reflection surface 14b3, light partially shielded by the fourth reflection surface 14b4 and light subjected to inner surface reflection with the fourth reflection surface 14b4 constitute a second optical system forming on the upper end edge a second partial light distribution pattern containing the cutoff line defined by the front end edge of the fourth reflection surface 14b4. A predetermined light distribution pattern is formed as a synthetic light distribution pattern in which the first and second partial light distribution patterns are overlapped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
