PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit capable of detecting failure of a relay, and capable of supplying power to a load even if the relay fails, and to provide a load control system including this power unit.SOLUTION: A power unit 2 includes a relay 6 provided between an input 10 and an output 11, and opening and closing electrical connection of the input 10 and output 11, manually operable opening/closing means 7 connected in parallel with the relay 6, and short-circuiting the opposite ends of the relay 6, and a control section 8 receiving an external signal for controlling the opening/closing of the relay 6, an input voltage inputted to the input 10 and an output voltage outputted from the output 11, opening and closing the relay 6 in response to the external signal, and detecting the open/close state of the relay 6 from the input voltage inputted and output voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
