PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain random noise reduction effects while preventing an image from being deteriorated by moire or false color in simple configuration in an imaging apparatus including a compound-eye optical group formed from optical systems with different focal distances.SOLUTION: The image processing system includes: image acquisition means for acquiring a plurality of images of a subject captured by the compound-eye optical system including at least two or more optical systems with different focal distances; image synthesis means for generating a synthetic image of the plurality of images; generation means for generating spatial frequency distribution of the subject from an image that is captured by the optical system with the longest focal distance among the plurality of images; conversion means for converting the spatial frequency distribution into spatial frequency distribution corresponding to images captured by the other optical systems with shorter focal distances; and distribution information acquisition means for acquiring distribution information of spatial frequencies in the converted spatial frequency distribution in accordance with a predetermined spatial frequency that is determined on the basis of an imaging condition of the images corresponding to the converted spatial frequency conversion. The image synthesis means controls the synthesis of the plurality of images in accordance with the distribution information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
