The red LD, green LD and blue LD are mounted on the principal surface 30a of a base member 30 via sub-mounts 21-23, respectively. A collimate lens 41 collimates red laser light Lfrom the red LD, a collimate lens 42 collimates green laser light Lfrom the green LD, and a collimate lens 43 collimates blue laser light Lfrom the blue LD. The collimate lenses 41-43 are mounted on the principal surface via subbase members 51-53.
