PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction of the size of a protrusion to the coating side of a coated electrical wire in the neighborhood of a welded portion of a crimp portion at a portion of a crimp connection structure to which the coated electrical wire is crimped, and enable further enhancement of cut-off performance in the crimp connection structure.SOLUTION: In a crimp connection structure 1 in which a coated electrical wire 200 is connected to a crimp terminal 10 having a crimp portion 30 for crimping and connecting the coated electrical wire 200, the crimp portion 30 is configured in a hollow cylindrical cross-sectional shape and has a welded portion W1 along a longitudinal direction X thereof while one end portion in the longitudinal direction X thereof is sealed. The other end portion of the crimp portion 30 is sealed by crimping the coated electrical wire 200. In the cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X at the crimped portion of an insulation coating 202, the protrusion amount Δt from the crimp portion 30 to the insulation coating 202 in the neighborhood containing the welded portion W1 of the crimp portion 30 is equal to not less than 0 time to not more than 0.5 time of the coating thickness of the insulation coating 202 at portions other than the neighborhood containing the welded portion W1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
