METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTION BACKFILL OF BRIDGE

The present invention relates to a method to construct a backfill lightweight soil of a bridge with a drainage system. According to the present invention, the method allows in reducing a pressure of the earth applied to an abutment using the lightweight soil as backfill materials; and provides the drainage system for spontaneous drainage by forming horizontal drain layers in a predefined height in the abutment backfill to allow spontaneous drainage, preventing a lasting of residual water for a long time. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises: (a) forming solum by filling lightweight soil with fluidity in the backfill part on the abutment of the bridge to a predefined height, and curing the same; (b) installing the drainage material in a horizontal direction of abutment on an upper portion of the solum in the predefined height in a longitudinal direction; (c) paving a drainage filter formed by PE film or a non-woven fabric on an upper portion of the drain board; and (d) repeating steps (a) to (c).
