摘要 According to an embodiment of the present invention, a control apparatus of a hybrid vehicle comprises an engine, a hybrid starter generator (HSG), a motor, a battery, a clutch, an accelerator pedal sensor and a control part. The engine generates power by burning a fuel. The HSG starts the engine and is operated as a generator in a state that the engine is started to generate electrical energy. The motor assists the power of the engine and is operated as a generator when braking is performed to generate electrical energy. The battery is charged with electric energy generated by the HSG and the motor. The clutch is included between the engine and the motor. The accelerator pedal sensor senses the operation of the accelerator pedal. The control part controls the engine, the HSG, the motor, the battery and the clutch by using the changed quantity of the accelerator pedal, which is detected from the accelerator pedal sensor. According to the control method of the hybrid vehicle, a series of commands can be performed. The commands includes: a step of determining whether the changed quantity of the accelerator pedal, which is detected by the accelerator pedal sensor, is larger than a set value; a step of starting the engine through the HSG when switching from an electric vehicle (EV) mode into a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) mode; a step of performing a control operation to output predetermined torque from the engine; and a step of coupling the clutch by synchronizing engine torque and motor torque.
