PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately acquire the coordinates of a contact part of an input device, in a portable information terminal having basic software built therein, which optimizes a finger operation to a touch panel.SOLUTION: Correction information determined on the basis of the tendency of adjustment through the execution of basic software is stored in advance in a storage device (S05, S06). A CPU acquires adjusted coordinates output from the basic software. The CPU acquires the direction of display of an image from the basic software. The CPU extracts correction information corresponding to the display direction from the storage device and applies the correction information to the acquired adjusted coordinates, thereby acquiring actual coordinates that are coordinates before the adjustment by the basic software.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16 |
