PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release a concentration of stress caused by thermal expansion of bulged-out segments and prevent deformation of the bulged-out segments caused by thermal expansion even if walls forming an exhaust collection part formed within a cylinder head show a shape bulging-out toward side portion of a cylinder block.SOLUTION: This invention is constituted in such a way that inner surfaces 41i, 42i of at least one of a pair of outer walls (41, 42) forming a swollen part 19 comprise the first curved regions (61, 71) formed at an end part of an exhaust outlet 8c and curved with the first curvature radii (R1, R3) having their centers of curvature at exhaust side cooling liquid passages (32, 33); and the second curved regions (62, 72) formed at a combustion chamber 6 rather than at the first curved regions and curved with the second curvature radii (R2,R4) larger than the first curvature radii (R1, R3) having their centers of curvature at exhaust side cooling liquid passages. The second curved regions include the first segments 66, 76 having heights of the exhaust side cooling liquid passages gradually increased from at least the exhaust outlet 8c toward the combustion chamber 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
