PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus configured to easily set a server to be linked, including a case where the server exists on the Internet.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: determination means which determines accessibility to the Internet; search means which transmits a multicast packet to a local network, to search for a server; specifying means which specifies a server which can be used by an information processing apparatus by use of a result of the determination means and a result of the search means; display control means which displays a screen for determining a server to be used by the information processing apparatus, the screen being changed according to the number of available servers specified; and determination means for determining a server to be used by the information processing apparatus. The display control means displays a screen for inputting an address of a server when there is no server available to the information processing apparatus, or displays a screen for selecting one of a plurality of servers when there are multiple servers available to the information processing apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
