PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support device which quantifies uncertainty of prediction of a design model and an impact of dispersion of design variables or environmental variables by using measurement data and design knowledge.SOLUTION: A design support device comprises: dispersion modeling means 106 for modeling dispersion or the like of operation conditions and processes of a product from measurement data; design model correction means 107 for correcting a design model by information on past design cases and experiences of designers and quantifying uncertainty thereof; uncertainty quantification means 108 for calculating a probability distribution of a design evaluation value predicted by a design model from the modeled dispersion, a design model and prediction distribution of the design model; and decision making means 109 for displaying the probability distribution of a design evaluation value with respect to an arbitrary design variable together with the prediction distribution of the design model on the basis of a result from the uncertainty quantification means 108.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
