PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual identification apparatus capable of dispensing with a special material and special processing for identifying a workpiece, and achieving cost reduction.SOLUTION: An individual identification apparatus rotates a tool and cuts a worked surface of a workpiece. During working, the individual identification apparatus changes a worked pattern per workpiece in the forward direction of the processing direction of the tool and/or the direction orthogonal to the processing direction of the tool, thereby making it possible to assign individual identification information for identifying each workpiece onto the worked surface of each workpiece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
