PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an image projection device that can switch between a mode where the brightness of a projection image becomes maximum and a mode where the brightness of a projection image becomes minimum.SOLUTION: An image projection device of the present invention includes a light source, color wheel, control part, and image forming part. The control part controls, in a first mode, a power to be supplied to the light source at a timing to irradiate a first color filter with light from the light source, to be a value higher than a power to be supplied to the light source at a timing to irradiate a second color filter corresponding to a color having visibility lower than a color of the first color filter with the light from the light source. The control part controls, in a second mode, a power to be supplied to the light source at a timing to irradiate the first color filter with the light from the light source to be a value lower than a power to be supplied to the light source at a timing to irradiate the second color filter with light from the light source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
