PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system that provides low-cost and low-power characteristics.SOLUTION: A memory system comprises: a memory configured to store data, correct an error in the stored data, and generate error information in response to a result of correcting the error in the stored data; and a processor coupled to the memory through a first communication path and a second communication path and configured to: receive data from the memory through the first communication path; and receive the error information from the memory through the second communication path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
