A handling method for a drill pipe is disclosed. The handling method for a drill pipe comprises: a step of lifting up a drill string in the bottom of a moon pool using a gripping part and transferring the drill string to a guide part; a step of separating a drill stand corresponding to a part gripped by the guide part from the drill string transferred to the guide part using a roughneck; and a step of lifting up the drill stand separated from the drill string using the guide part and locating the drill stand in an inclined part to be inclined. Therefore the present invention improves the efficiency of a pipe connecting work.
