PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for assisting a user so as to be able to easily create an enquiry sentence guaranteed to receive a reply having a certain degree or more of accuracy in a question answering system regarding a user's item of interest.SOLUTION: The enquiry sentence generation device is used together with a question answering system, and includes word reception means for receiving a word or the like 480 as a basis for enquiry sentence creation, and an enquiry sentence creation database 502 including a plurality of entries for enquiry sentence creation. Each of the plurality of entries includes a reply sentence pattern used with a word as a key in the question answering system and cooccuring with the word. The enquiry sentence generation device further includes an enquiry sentence creation part 506 for retrieving a reply sentence pattern from the enquiry sentence creation database 502 with the word or the like 480 received by the word reception means as a key, and creating a reply sentence from the retrieved reply sentence pattern and the received word or the like 480.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
