PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radiographic imaging apparatus capable of being placed appropriately in a photographable state when a radiology technician, etc. are going to take a photograph while exactly suppressing power consumption.SOLUTION: A portable radiographic imaging apparatus 1 comprises: a power mode control unit 42 for switching the power consumption mode of the apparatus between a photographable mode and a power saving mode; and a prediction control unit 40 for instructing the power mode control unit 42 to switch the power consumption mode. The prediction control unit 40 has relations T1 in which photographing conditions N is associated with times Δt required to take from occurrence of predetermined events concerning the apparatus or photograph taking until switching of the power consumption mode. When a predetermined event occurs, the prediction control unit 40 determines, according to the relation T1, the time Δt associated with the photographing condition N of the photography to be performed from now on. When the time Δt has elapsed since the occurrence of the predetermined event, the prediction control unit 40 instructs the power mode control unit 42 to switch the power consumption mode from the power saving mode to the photographable mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
