PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker allowing a user to confirm from an external appearance whether an inner lid is attached or not.SOLUTION: There are included: a bottomed cylindrical inner pot housing part 32 inside a body part 1; an outer lid 12a covering the upper side of the body part 1 and supported on the body part 1 and a freely rotatable hinge part 12d; an inner pot 14 stored in the inner pot housing part 32 and having a flange part 14b held in an end part 32b of the inner pot housing part 32; an inner lid 12b covering an upper opening 14a of the inner pot 14 and having a projecting fixation piece 12b5 as a support part when attaching to the outer lid 12a; and a rotatable operation switch 80 in the outer lid 12a. The operation switch 80 is provided with a claw part 80b1 provided in the lower part of the operation switch 80 and projecting to the inside, a shaft 80c provided inside the operation switch 80 and supporting the rotation of the operation switch 80, and an energization component 80d energizing the claw part 80b1 to the inner pot 14 side.
