TURBULENT JET IGNITION PRE-CHAMBER COMBUSTION SYSTEM FOR SPARK IGNITION ENGINES

The present invention provides an ignition system for an internal combustion engine having one or more combustion chambers. The ignition system comprises: a housing; an ignition unit; an injector; and a pre-chamber which has a nozzle separated from a center proximate part. An ignition part of the ignition unit and a nozzle of the injector are installed to be operated in the center proximate part of the pre-chamber. The ignition part ignites fuel in the pre-chamber. A material partially combusted in the pre-chamber is extinguished through an orifice in the nozzle of the pre-chamber and is spread to a combustion chamber to ignite main fuel filled in the combustion chamber.
