PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user identification device, a user identification method, and a computer program that enable precise management of entrance/exit of a user with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The user identification device obtains a feature quantity of a person area of a specific person on the basis of image data of an image in which the specific person has been imaged and store the feature quantity in a storage device, newly sequentially obtains image data of a plurality of imaged images time-sequentially imaged by an imaging apparatus to extract a new person area from the images based on the image data, stores a feature quantity of the extracted new person area in association with use state information that indicates a use state of facilities, determines whether a predetermined action is performed on the basis of changes in positions, shapes, and the like of the new person area and the person area of the specific person in the plurality of the imaged images, and updates the use state information, which indicates the use state of the facilities, corresponding to the feature quantity of the new person area on the basis of a determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
